Pretoria Portland Cement Company Limited (PPC) was established in 1892 as De Eerste Cement Fabrieken Beperkt PPC Cement is the market leader in South Africa , with a product range that encompasses all applications and a technical services team that is on hand to provide industry solutions.

The history of the company is closely linked to the growth and development of South Africa. PPC has produced cement for many of the country's most famous landmarks and construction projects. These include the Union Buildings, the Gariep Dam, Van Stadens River Bridge, the Huguenot Tunnel and much of the rest of Southern Africa's infrastructure.
